Deep groove ball bearings are so named because of the combination of 2 machined and polished grooved raceways (inner & outer ring), guiding a number of appropriate balls, separated by a cage.
They are simple in design, robust in operation, and normally require little maintenance, resulting in their widespread use and versatility. They are the most widely used bearing type, and are consequently available in many designs and sizes. These bearings are suitable for radial loads only.
GBC and our technical staff are able to choose from our various sources of high quality or budget priced manufacturers to provide a bearing suitable for almost all applications, including:
• double row deep groove ball bearings
• stainless steel ball bearings
• utilising special seals, grease and radial clearance
• bearings for high speed and high temperature
• non precision unground pressed metal ball bearings
• available in metric and imperial sizes
• special bearings made to your specification
